5 ways to ensure you are having the best Orgasms this Spring
Who doesn’t love having intense orgasms? Occasionally, our sex-life can get into a bit of a rut with reduced sexual pleasure - so here are five ways to ensure you are having the best orgasms this spring.
1. Masturbate more
That’s right, you heard us correctly - masturbating more helps you experience more intense orgasms. Not only does exploring your nether regions make you ultra aware of your body, but also means you can discover new and different pleasurable sensations and feelings that increase sexual pleasure, so you are armed with inside knowledge that you are able to communicate to your partner during your next sex-session. Also, if you suffer from premature ejaculation or orgasming too quickly, masturbating means you can train your body to be able to hold off that little bit longer…by taking a pause for 30 seconds, when you feel yourself getting to that sweet-spot… the more you pause and learn to take your time… the longer you’ll be able to go before you reach the top of that climax mountain to the land of pure orgasmic paradise…
2. Make time for foreplay
We know it can be tempting to skip foreplay, and head straight to intercourse - especially if you’re limited on time or energy. However, when you skip foreplay - you miss out on a whole host of sexual pleasures before you experience an orgasm. During foreplay, the body releases several feel-good hormones that help to increase pleasure during climax; Dopamine, a neurotransmitter responsible for pleasure seeking and reward, gets released during foreplay, leading to increased feelings of pleasure and anticipation, while oxytocin, the ‘cuddle hormone’ helps increase connection and intimacy between you and your partner. Not only that, foreplay helps to lubricate and prepare your body for sexual intercourse, stimulating your erogenous zones, increasing blood flow to your genitals and causing the muscles to tense up in preparation for a more intense orgasm. So, if you’ve been skipping foreplay, it’s time to start adding it back into your sex-life - you’ll be wondering how you ever lived without it!
3. Spice up your sex-life with new positions
Let’s face it, it’s easy to fall into a sexual rut, especially if we’ve been with our partner for a long-time. We may opt for our favourite positions every time we have sexual intercourse; probably goes along the lines of either missionary, cowgirl, or doggy-style. But with over 64 sexual positions in the Kama Sutra - there are a wide number of sexual positions and techniques we are missing out on, reducing the chance of experiencing more intense and pleasurable orgasms. In addition, finding a new favourite sexual position can be a great way of bonding and having fun with your partner, whilst minimising sexual boredom or difficulties - for instance; if you’ve never experienced a vaginal orgasm, changing your position to one that may stimulate the G-spot could cause you to experience more sexual pleasure and a more intense orgasm.
4. Learn how to breathe
Stay with us on this one. Tantric breathing is a technique that can increase sexual pleasure leading to more intense orgasms through increasing sensitivity, awareness and sexual energy to our bodies. This is experienced through focusing on slow, deep breathing while visualising the flow of sexual energy floating throughout our bodies when we have sex. Through utilising this technique, it’s thought to increase more blood flow and sensitivity to the genital area, creating heightened arousal and increased sexual pleasure. If you’re looking to experience more intense orgasms, give this technique a try.
- Take one slow, deep breath, through the nose lasting for 5 seconds.
- When you breathe in, you should feel your stomach inflate - this is known as diaphragm breathing - and can help to increase and control sexual arousal.
- Hold for 1-2 seconds.
- Slowly exhale through the nose, lasting for 5 seconds.
The more you practise this technique, the easier it will be to achieve longer-lasting and more intense orgasms.
5. Make sure you are wearing the right-size condom
One of the biggest myths we hear is that condoms are not comfortable - and this misconception couldn’t be further from the truth. The reason why some people might not like wearing condoms, is because they are wearing the wrong size, leading to reduced sexual pleasure. A condom that’s too big may slip or slide during sexual intercourse and may reduce stimulation and friction where it doesn’t fit snugly against the skin, while a tight-fitting condom may pinch the shaft, leading to discomfort or reduced blood flow. Also, if you’re more concerned about the discomfort you feel wearing a condom, it will take the awareness away from your sexual experience and make sex that little less pleasurable. Therefore, to increase your chance of having a more intense orgasm - make sure you are wearing the right-size condom. To find out how to measure for the correct size, click here.
